Phil Faulkner
Crew Manager
What I do at Ports of Jersey
In my role as Crew Manager my main responsibilities include supporting the Watch Manager in the day to day running of the Watch. This includes the planning and delivery of training, the daily administration of the Watch and taking charge of a scene in the event of an incident. I also co-manage the Service's Recruitment.
Why Ports of Jersey
The Ports of Jersey and in particular the ARFFS offer a very varied and interesting career path. We can guarantee the right candidate that there will be plenty of opportunity to develop and progress not only within our department, but across the business as a whole.
Who am I?
I have been with the ARFFS for 12 years. During my time with the Service I have taken the opportunity to progress through the ranks going from FireFighter to Leading FireFighter and now hold the rank of Crew Manager. Prior to joining the Service I worked across several different areas of the Education Department and Youth Service.
